While it blows at Margaret River and Yallingup in the afternoon, our beaches at Dunsborough, ZMeelup and Eagle Bay are calm.

Try Yallingup Beach or Smiths Beach in the morning before the sea breeze comes in, or in the afternoon, drive across the cape a few kilometres to Bunker Bay. Here you’ll find one of the world’s most beautiful sheltered beaches, and you can walk through the expensive resort there.
Eagle Bay‘s pretty beaches are also worth seeing, as well as the delightful nearby beach at Point Picquet, which could be in the Caribbean.

Margaret River is a wonderful region that’s largely still undiscovered by the rest of the world but loved greatly by West Australians.
